Scrum Coach and Trainer

We are seeking a knowledgeable Agile Coach to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will facilitate and conduct agile training sessions for our partners and clients, while also developing content for both the Active Agile Academy and Active Agile Coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing Agile enhancement process through personalized coaching for individuals and teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the agile chapter, which includes multiple agile coaches and scrum masters.
  • Guide and initiate decision-making processes regarding the adoption of agile methodologies (such as Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup) within teams and oversee their execution.
  • Ensure adherence to agile processes, compliance with established guidelines, and assist in overcoming challenges in the application of agile practices.
  • Organize and facilitate regular meetings, including sprints, reviews, retrospectives, and reports, as required.
  • Encourage the development of an agile mindset at the team level through coaching and support in conflict resolution both within the team and with other departments.
  • Conduct Agile training sessions for onboarding newly formed teams, as well as on-site training for clients.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in various agile projects, including scaled environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, and scaled frameworks like SAFe and LeSS.
  • Deep commitment to the agile manifesto and embodiment of agile values.
  • Familiarity with management 3.0 concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams or projects through Agile and/or Lean transformations.
  • Previous experience as a coach, trainer, or facilitator is advantageous.
  • Ability to identify and address impediments transparently, acting as a Servant Leader.
  • Comprehensive understanding of communication, group dynamics, and coaching, along with a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong empathy and persuasive skills.
  • Willingness to think creatively and outside conventional boundaries.
  • Proactive approach and hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of software development.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
