Join Our Team as an Agile Coach

We are seeking a skilled Agile Coach to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in organizing and conducting agile training sessions for our partners and clients, while also developing content for both the Active Agile Academy and Active Agile Coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead the ongoing Agile enhancement process through personalized coaching for individuals and teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated agile chapter comprising several agile coaches and scrum masters.
  • Agile Methodology Implementation: Guide and facilitate decision-making regarding the adoption of agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking, Lean Startup) within teams.
  • Process Oversight: Ensure adherence to agile processes, address compliance issues, and eliminate obstacles to effective agile practice.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and moderate regular meetings, including sprints, reviews, retrospectives, and reports as necessary.
  • Mindset Development: Foster an agile mindset at the team level through coaching and support in conflict resolution within teams and across departments.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct Agile training sessions for onboarding newly formed teams and at client locations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in multiple agile projects, including scaled environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, and scaled frameworks such as SAFe and LeSS.
  • Deep commitment to the agile manifesto and embodiment of agile values.
  • Familiarity with management 3.0 concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and projects through Agile and/or Lean transformations.
  • Experience in coaching, training, and facilitating is advantageous.
  • Ability to identify and address impediments transparently, acting as a Servant Leader.
  • Comprehensive understanding of communication, group dynamics, and coaching, coupled with teamwork skills.
  • Empathy and persuasive communication are key strengths.
  • Curiosity and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Proactive approach and hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills and solid understanding of software development.
  • Fluency in both English and German is essential.
