Agile Practices Advisor

We are seeking a knowledgeable Agile Coach to enhance our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in facilitating and conducting agile training sessions for our partners and clients, while also developing content for both the Active Agile Academy and Active Agile Coaching initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing Agile enhancement process through personalized coaching for individuals and teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the agile chapter, which includes several agile coaches and scrum masters.
  • Guide and initiate decision-making processes regarding the adoption of agile methodologies (such as Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup) within teams and oversee their implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to agile processes, compliance with established guidelines, and assist in overcoming obstacles during the execution of agile practices.
  • Organize and facilitate regular meetings, including sprints, reviews, retrospectives, and other necessary gatherings.
  • Encourage the development of an agile mindset at the team level through coaching and conflict resolution support.
  • Conduct Agile training sessions for onboarding newly formed teams and at client locations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in multiple agile projects, including scaled environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, and scaled frameworks like SAFe and LeSS.
  • Deep commitment to the agile manifesto and embodiment of agile values.
  • Familiarity with management 3.0 concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and projects through Agile and/or Lean transformations.
  • Previous experience in coaching, training, and facilitation is advantageous.
  • Ability to identify and address impediments transparently, acting as a Servant Leader.
  • In-depth understanding of communication, group dynamics, and coaching, coupled with strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Empathy and persuasive communication skills are essential.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to think creatively.
  • Proactive approach and hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of software development.
  • Fluency in both English and German is required.
