Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to support our HR Operations team in various activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human resources and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Support the HR team in daily tasks, such as reviewing the HR ticket system and delegating tickets to responsible team members.
  • Ensure that personnel and employee files are up-to-date and that all employee documentation is recorded effectively.
  • Act as an internal contact person for general employment inquiries, both personally and via the HR ticket system.
  • Be responsible for the timely completion of job references and create employment certificates and other documents.
  • Support employees with visa processes and ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of our internal leave management system.
  • Independently enter data and profiles into our HR system.
  • Take on additional responsibilities depending on individual interests and skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Enrolled student at a college or university in the field of business administration, economics, business psychology, or a comparable field with a focus on human resources.
  • A 6-month mandatory internship as part of your studies.
  • A high level of commitment, initiative, enthusiasm, and genuine interest in the HR department.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, coupled with a good understanding of customer service.
  • Good general IT skills, especially with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory, other languages are a plus.
