International Collections Specialist for EMEA Region

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing collections of delinquent receivables for a portfolio of accounts in the EMEA region, ensuring timely processing of payments and write-offs. The successful candidate will have a high level of autonomy and be critical to maintaining the company's cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collection and missing withholding tax receipt calls
  • Resolving past due accounts
  • Negotiating payment arrangements
  • Reviewing financial statements
  • Fielding incoming calls
  • Recommending accounts for next collection steps
  • Account reconciliations, including submitting write-offs and payment processing details
  • Reconciling withholding tax receipts and VAT (where applicable)
  • Performing withholding and VAT (where applicable) adjustments and other miscellaneous write-offs

Requirements

  • University degree
  • Demonstrable professional experience in collections/finance/analytical related role
  • Highly proficient in Excel, especially Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
  • Hotel experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment and be required to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including franchisees, Field Operations, and internal departments. The role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
