Global Recovery Specialist for EMEA Region

This is a unique opportunity to join Wyndham Hotels & Resorts as a seasoned professional in collections and cash flow management. As a Global Recovery Specialist for the EMEA region, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire collections process, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, and maintaining the company's cash flow. This role has a direct impact on the company's financial performance, including reducing bad debt, improving accounts receivable (A/R) aging, and decreasing days sales outstanding (DSO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including collection and payment processing, to ensure timely and efficient cash flow.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce bad debt and improve A/R aging, resulting in increased cash flow and reduced financial risks.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including finance and legal, to ensure effective communication and resolution of financial issues.
- Converse and communicate with franchisees, field operations, and other stakeholders to resolve payment issues and ensure compliance with collection policies.
- Monitor and analyze financial statements, including financial reports and operational statistics, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Perform withholding and VAT (where applicable) adjustments, reconciliations, and other miscellaneous write-offs as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Must speak and write English and German fluently.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and proficient with computers.
- Personal Qualities: Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
