Business Development Manager for Smart Collaboration Channel DACH

Job Description:

Lenovo is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive Workplace Transformation opportunities through new and existing Channel Partners in the DACH region.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build partnerships with existing and new Smart Collaboration Expert partners to maximize Revenue and Margin for Lenovo Workplace Transformation products.
  • Develop and execute operational plans for Workplace Transformation products and options.
  • Own ongoing analysis of metrics & business performance.
  • Assess & mitigate risks / issues through effective contingency plans.
  • Keep deals moving through the funnel, together with segments account manager and the local Smart Collaboration Channel Sales Specialist managing the business partners.
  • Maintain positive relationships in the territory and ensure that our customers receive world-class sales and customer service.
  • Maintain market and competitive knowledge to act as a trusted consultant with customers, and educate them and also our partners on Lenovo's technology while developing a working knowledge of Lenovo's Smart Collaboration offerings.
  • Produce accurate account plans, sales forecasts, and ensure sales activity is tracked using the required reporting tools.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of business development, or sales / marketing experience in the IT industry or AV industry.
  • Proficiency in being able to sell the value of Workplace Transformation & associated solutions.
  • Strong relationships with the IT channel ecosystem in the DACH territory.
  • Fluency in German and English.
