Global Business Development Manager

About the Role
The Global Business Development Manager for SUSE at Lenovo will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and partnerships. This position requires expertise in shaping the global business landscape and will be based in any Lenovo location in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships: Foster and expand relationships with key partners globally, leveraging market trends and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities to inform business decisions.
- Business Expansion: Identify and pursue new markets, channels, and revenue streams, collaborating with cross-functional teams to position SUSE solutions effectively.
- Solution Positioning: Work closely with sales teams to provide insights and training on SUSE offerings, ensuring alignment with SUSE strategies.
- Deal Support: Assist in complex deals, ensuring alignment with SUSE strategies and providing support to sales teams.
- Innovation Advocacy: Promote SUSE's value proposition within Lenovo and externally, driving innovation and growth.
- Global Alignment: Work closely with SUSE product management and engineering teams to ensure global alignment and effective solution positioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in global business development or strategic partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills and market acumen.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Passion for technology and innovation.
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Results-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with SUSE solutions is a plus.
