Senior Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Programme Manager to lead our Programme Department in Africa, Asia, and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management to our Programme Management country-pairs, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination across all related programme activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of approximately 6-7 colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of programme objectives.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure close collaboration between Controlling and Coordination functions, mainstreaming and harmonizing working approaches across all related programme activities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors, Head of Programmes, and other stakeholders.
- Represent Help towards donors and other stakeholders in relevant meetings and conferences.
- Master's-level or higher degree in social sciences, international development, humanitarian aid, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a humanitarian or development organisation.
- Experience working with key donors, such as GFFO, BMZ, ECHO, EU, and UN.
- Language skills: English preferred in combination with German. For Teamlead Africa: English & French preferred with German in combination.
