Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development or Strategic Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and solutions delivery. This role will play a critical part in driving business growth by identifying opportunities to expand our presence with existing customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage, nurture, and expand relationships with key strategic accounts, developing a deep understanding of customer and account business needs and objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services and solutions within existing accounts, collaborating with the sales team to develop account strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, conducting regular customer meetings to review performance, address concerns, and explore new opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services, providing feedback and insights to improve products, services, and customer experience.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze account performance metrics to ensure targets are met, preparing regular reports on account status, progress, and forecasts for senior management.
Requirements

This role is ideal for individuals with 10+ years' industry experience in Biotechnology or life science, holding a B.Sc. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or other related areas combined with business, finance, marketing. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong customer focus, urgency to drive progress, and excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
