About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development or Strategic Account Manager to join our team at LenioBio GmbH. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth by identifying opportunities to expand our presence with existing customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, nurture and expand relationships with key strategic accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer and accounts business needs and objectives and relate this to the individual customer's goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services and solutions within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop account strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
Customer Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings to review performance, address concerns, and explore new opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and recommendations to support their business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, application support) to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to improve products, services, and customer experience.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track and analyze account performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, progress, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activities.
Requirements

This role is ideal for individuals with 10+ years' industry experience in Biotechnology or life science, a B.Sc. in molecular biology, biochemistry or other related areas combined with business, finance, marketing, and a strong customer focus.
