About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservation Manager to join our team at Althoff Hotels. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for managing the reservation process from start to finish, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maximizing hotel occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase hotel occupancy
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation systems, ensuring seamless guest experiences
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to senior management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hotel reservations or a related field, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and revenue management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
