About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservation Manager to join our team at Althoff Hotels. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for managing the reservation process from start to finish, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reservation process, including responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with the hotel's management team to ensure that all operational aspects of the hotel are running smoothly
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
  • Develop and implement processes to improve hotel efficiency and reduce costs
  • Train and develop the skills of the hotel's reservation team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hotel operations, preferably in a reservation or sales role
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
