About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team at Enpal Dragon GmbH. As a key member of our Venture Development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining data structures and ensuring the best-in-class reporting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Venture Development, Operations, and BI & Data Analytics teams to drive data-driven decision making.
- Own the projects intake process and bring transparency on trade-offs through diplomatic communication.
- Co-own business problems and technical initiatives with stakeholders and translate them into data solutions.
- Maintain, develop, and validate our complex CRM data landscape.
- Support and coach business analysts in the usage of data through SQL and data models.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence, with a strong background in Customer Acquisition domain.
- Expert skills in SQL for data modelling and transformations. Python for data modelling and analytics would be a plus.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Azure Data Factory, and knowledge of data ingestion tools like Fivetran.
- Familiarity with DBT, Azure Databricks for advanced data processing and software dev controls, code reviews – GitHub, Azure DevOps.
- Strong ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups with various backgrounds (Analysts, Business Developers) and translate their requirements in work packages.
