Role Overview

Join Fit Analytics Innovation as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and play a critical role in driving the success of our flagship product, Fit Finder.

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for transforming our core technology to align with the evolving demands of the apparel and footwear e-commerce industry.

Focused on overhauling the frontend widget and developing robust backend solutions, your contributions will directly enhance the user experience, reduce product returns, and increase self-service capabilities for our clients.

Your expertise in full stack development will drive innovations that ensure our solutions are not only cutting-edge but also scalable and reliable.

This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the technological advancements in e-commerce solutions and influence the engineering culture at Fit Analytics Innovation, fostering a mindset of end-to-end thinking and continuous, focused delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the continuous improvement of Fit Finder, developing solutions that enhance the overall user experience.
  2. Provide leadership in the application of best practices in end-to-end software development to ensure superior code quality and robust architecture.
  3. Drive the continuous development of comprehensive testing and monitoring practices, while actively managing technical debt through continuous refactoring and optimization.
  4. Develop tools and processes to regularly assess the Fit Finder functionality, ensuring stability and performance.
  5. Collaborate closely with software and data engineers as well as product managers and data analysts to ensure that technical solutions align seamlessly with business goals and enhance user satisfaction.
  6. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning by setting a positive example and engaging in collaborative practices such as pair programming and leading weekly knowledge sharing sessions.
  7. Inspire team members to innovate and elevate their skills, contributing to the team's overall success and growth.
  8. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align technical developments with business goals, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing product returns.
Requirements and Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong background in full stack development, working in agile teams practicing incremental delivery.

Strong Javascript/Typescript skills and extensive experience with modern Javascript frameworks, particularly React.

Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, responsive design, performance optimization, and frontend decomposition.

Experience in designing, operating, and troubleshooting cloud-based microservice architectures involving different datastores and programming languages.

Champion engineering best practices to ensure quality, performance, and security.

Excellent written and spoken communications skills in English.

DevOps experience including familiarity with Google Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD setups is nice to have.

Experience with Golang for backend development is a plus.
