Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a critical role in helping our clients generate business value from their existing data sets. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing advanced data reporting and visualizations, applying data modeling methodologies, and contributing to a robust data platform for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines using various technologies, including data loading, warehousing, and transformation tools.
- Collaborate with domain experts to solve data obstacles in various industries and develop practical solutions.
- Design and implement data models using techniques such as Data Vaults and Kimball's Dimensional Modelling.
- Work with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored data solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our data platform.
- Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data modeling techniques and data warehousing.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, as well as data transformation tools such as dbt.
- Business fluency in German or English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Optional: Experience with programming languages such as Python, and experience with managing stakeholder relationships in projects.
