Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing both inbound and external leads for the sales team, driving business growth and revenue expansion in the manufacturing industry.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Management: Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing, as well as outbound prospecting focused on the manufacturing industry.
  • Customer Engagement: Contact prospective customers to determine their needs and degree of interest in our products and services.
  • Sales Demonstration: Schedule or conduct web sales demonstrations and maintain detailed notes in our lead tracking system.
  • Product and Competitor Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our products and services, as well as the activities of competitors in the industrial automation space.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments, such as marketing, customer service, and sales support.
Your Profile
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Tools: Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industrial automation space.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Language: Fluency in both German and English.
  • Education: Preferred associate's or bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
