We are seeking a highly skilled Business Director to join our team in Berlin. As a champion in client relationships and a true enabler of making creative excellence come real, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive and lasting client relationships based on a solid understanding of the business objectives of your clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Thoroughly understanding, communicating, and advocating the point of view of a creative agency on every touchpoint, internally and externally.
- Having a hands-on mentality and being willing to get involved in the creative process to bring innovative ideas to life.
- Steering projects and collaborating with creative teams to produce best-in-class ideas and execution.
- Building and maintaining client relationships on a senior level while uncovering client needs.
- Clearly communicating client objectives and collaborating with creative directors and planners to set the creative and strategic tone for the client.
- Evaluating creative products against strategic direction and providing on-track feedback.
- Confidently guiding the creative team through accurate briefing and project handling skills.
- Leading a team and resolving conflicts, providing clear and fair direction and feedback to mid-level and junior staff.
- Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
- Managing and facilitating new business pitches.
Requirements:
- Passionate about creative excellence and producing great work.
- Strong relationship builder with excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Financial knowledge and control over budget.
- Good exposure in handling integrated campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and build client relationships.
- Experience in managing people and teams.
- Strong project handling and execution skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in parallel.
- Business fluent in both German and English.
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communication, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in the advertising industry.
