Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solar Design Engineer to join our Solar Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing utility scale solar projects at a preliminary or detailed level, using industry-standard software.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining technical parameters and specifications for main components and ensuring compliance with industry codes
  • Reviewing technical drawings prepared by the design team and external providers
  • Providing expertise during project implementation, both remotely and on site
  • Working with design software such as PVSyst, AutoCad, PVcase, CYMCAP, etc.
  • Selecting and sizing electrical components (cables, transformers, etc.)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solar Design Engineer who is fluent in English and has a strong background in solar engineering. German language skills are an asset, and additional languages are a plus. Experience in solar construction processes, such as site management or technical auditing, will be considered an asset.
