Solar Design Engineer

ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA is seeking a skilled Solar Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Solar Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing utility-scale solar projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design solar projects using industry-standard software
  • Define technical parameters and specifications for main components
  • Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with industry codes
  • Provide expertise during project implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in design software such as PVSyst, AutoCad, and PVcase
  • Experience in sizing and selecting electrical components
  • Fluency in English, with German language skills a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
