Job Title: Solar Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Solar Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Solar Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing utility-scale solar projects using industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design solar projects at a preliminary or detailed level using industry-standard software
  • Define technical parameters and specifications for main components and ensure compliance with industry codes
  • Review technical drawings prepared by the design team and external providers
  • Collaborate with cross-business teams to ensure project success
  • Support the preparation of post-construction documentation
  • Provide expertise during project implementation, both remotely and on-site
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry in a relevant position
  • Expertise in working with design software such as PVSyst, AutoCad, PVcase, CYMCAP, etc.
  • Fluency in English, ideally speaking German and additional languages an asset
  • Possible experience in solar construction processes (as a site manager or technical auditor) an asset
