As a Principal Field Applications Engineer at Infineon Technologies, you will be the critical link between sales, Technical Marketing, and Applications Engineering, leveraging your exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and deep technical knowledge in power semiconductors to provide invaluable guidance to technical decision-makers.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth in the Aerospace, Defense, and High Reliability markets.
  • Collaborate with Technical Marketing to support customers' application needs and define new products and derivatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their roadmaps, technology, R&D investments, and future needs.
  • Assist in the development of system-level knowledge of Aerospace & Defense programs to support customer bases and propose new product ideas for Infineon's HiRel roadmap.
  • Partner with sales to expand and grow revenue within our focused Aerospace, Defense, and High Reliability Markets.
  • Mentor new college graduates and junior FAEs to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success in semiconductor solution selling and/or design (5+ years as a FAE, applications engineer, or power HW designer).
  • Deep understanding of power management and motor control applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internally across the sales and marketing organization.
  • Experience with Space (radiation hardened) and/or Defense semiconductors.
  • Fluency in English and German.
