Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Controller to join our team at Luxair. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical control, support, and trouble-shooting to flight crew and maintenance staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical control and support to flight crew and maintenance staff for all technical issues on LUXAIR's fleet and third-party airlines.
  • Supervise and request manpower and skills to ensure daily technical operations run smoothly.
  • Give clear instructions on priorities and deadlines to guarantee dispatch reliability.
  • Adjust work assignments to achieve optimal performance and secure Airworthiness Directives.
  • Ensure deferred defects are correctly recorded in the Technics database.
  • Support production in applying critical task identification and double inspection procedures.
  • Provide assistance in trouble-shooting to maintenance teams and flight crews.
  • Monitor fleet status and consider ongoing and future maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Hold a DAP or equivalent qualification.
  • Be a current Aircraft Licensed Staff B1 or B2.
  • Have good knowledge of EASA Part M and Part 145 regulations.
  • Hold a type rating of at least one Luxair aircraft type.
  • Show good conflict management skills.
  • Show a good sense of priorities.
  • Be prepared to work in irregular shifts.
  • Accept Duty Travel.
  • Show good communication skills in English and skills in French or German.

  • Be stress-resistant.
  • Become holder of all type ratings relevant to Luxair.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Show strong organizational skills.
  • Be capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Attend and pass all mandatory trainings.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of data.
  • Show user skills in tools used in Technics.
