Sales Development Representative

Evident Scientific business provides cutting-edge imaging, instrumentation, and measurement solutions to meet the evolving needs of professionals in the industrial and life sciences sectors.
We are a leading supplier of optical and digital microscope systems for life science solutions and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities- You will take ownership of the end-to-end sales process for assigned customers, from initial contact to order fulfillment.
- You are responsible for the complete customer journey, including approaching phases, developing relationships, and closing deals.
- You will constantly seek opportunities to develop existing customer portfolios by offering new products or cross-selling/up-selling services.
- You will actively research potential customers by exploring new markets, applications, or geographic niches, and execute targeted initiatives towards customer acquisition.
- You will be in charge of technical service sales intended for our existing installed base of Evident devices across all customer segments.
- In collaboration with the Marketing department, you will provide support for planning and execution of proactive sales campaigns targeting assigned customer segments.
- You will prequalify inbound leads and assess customer potential for correct segment allocation.
- You will be responsible for sales qualification of inbound leads and assessment of customer potential for correct segment allocation.
- You will manage your own sales activity and pipeline according to established guidelines to reach yearly/monthly sales quotas by product line, with ongoing follow-up and maintenance of your pipeline and lead flow in our CRM system matching established KPIs.
- You will participate in classroom and e-learning training sessions on products, applications, sales skills, and digital selling.
- You have completed vocational training or hold a university degree.
- You possess proven sales experience, either field or inside sales, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial or life sciences sales.
- Prior knowledge of Microscopy or Imaging Devices is an asset.
- You have a proven track record of successfully pitching to customers for new business and opportunities.
- You have experience in lead qualification and management in collaboration with marketing departments.
- You are experienced in using virtual/digital channels applied to sales and lead management processes and working with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
- Capacity to understand complex technical products in the Life Sciences field and quickly learn new information.
- You have a strong command of German; additional languages are considered a plus.
- You are an engaging, outgoing personality who brings passion for helping customers.
- You can effectively engage with customers at all levels through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible working hours with 50% remote work possible.
