We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at Siemens Industry Software Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies to achieve specific business targets and strategic objectives for our PCB design and analysis product offerings in the EMEA Region.
Your primary focus will be on driving the priorities of all system PCB/systems product opportunities and providing clear prioritization for resource allocation to the field technical resource management. You will work closely with our account team to build strong customer relationships and establish strategic relationships for Siemens EDA in product/technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define technical account engagement plans and campaigns necessary to achieve growth targets.
- Lead and manage account campaigns for specific product lines.
- Ensure understanding of all elements of any technical campaign, including decision process, success criteria, committed usage upon success, run rate impact, Application Engineers resources required, and solving the customer's problem.
- Establish regular meetings with specific customer management to support successful campaigns.
- Align with account team on business opportunities and build up engagement tracking mechanism to ensure ability to summarize data and communicate progress vs plan across multiple accounts effectively.
- Define, track, and report priorities for all engagements at every stage and communicate closely with technical management to prioritize engagements and short vs. long-term objectives.
- Build strong customer relationships to enable establishment of strategic relationships for Siemens EDA in product/technology.
- Serve as key field resource to summarize competitive threats and opportunities.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback, competitive information, and general field intelligence into the product BUs with goal of aligning product direction and roadmaps to customer needs within the territory.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in related subject, e.g. electronics.
- Demonstrable experience of selling software into electronics sector, preferably selling PCB/ASIC.
- Product, market, and industry expertise in PCB design and analysis technology.
- Excellent knowledge of value proposition selling and negotiating skills.
- Passion for developing new business and relationships.
- Create and maintain technical campaigns.
- Set appropriate expectations and decision criteria.
- Excellent communication in English, second European language highly desirable.
- Ability to successfully drive closure of technical campaigns.
- Ability to effectively work in highly matrixed organization across account management, field technical organization, and business unit R&D and Marketing teams.
