Strategic Enterprise Solutions Specialist

Palo Alto Networks is a leader in cybersecurity, and we're seeking an experienced Major Account Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the German Public Sector. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for leading complex sales engagements, building strategic relationships with customers, and driving business growth through innovative solutions.
About the Role
In this critical position, you'll leverage your technical acumen and consultative selling skills to identify business challenges and create tailored solutions for our customers. You'll work closely with internal teams to develop and execute territory plans, meet or exceed quarterly targets, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity. Your ability to think critically, navigate complex sales cycles, and build strong relationships will be essential to success.
About You
We're looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in SaaS-based architectures, particularly in the networking and security industries. Your experience with value selling, consultative sales techniques, and local state accounts in the German Public Sector will serve as a strong foundation for this role. You should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in English and German.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
• Identify business challenges and create tailored solutions to meet customer needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform sales approaches
Salary Information
This is a high-paying opportunity with a salary range of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Our competitive compensation package also includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
