Ambitious Growth Strategist

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Growth Strategist to join our team at ahead, a leading food-tech startup in Europe.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth and scaling businesses into new international markets. As a key member of our expansion team, you will be responsible for executing high-impact marketing strategies, establishing our presence across Europe, and managing cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth and successful launches.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Growth Marketing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of growth marketing strategies, focusing on influencer marketing and paid social media channels. Drive customer acquisition goals and ensure consistent growth targets are met.
- Market Research and Launch Planning: Conduct comprehensive market research to evaluate potential opportunities in the Netherlands. Develop go-to-market strategies, form local partnerships, and create tailored promotional activities for successful market entries.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization: Continuously analyze key growth metrics, customer behavior, and market trends. Refine and adjust marketing strategies to outperform competitors and meet performance targets in each new country.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth market expansion. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align on regulatory, cultural, and operational aspects across each market.
- Project Leadership and Milestone Tracking: Track key expansion milestones, provide regular updates to leadership, and adjust strategies as necessary. Demonstrate ability to lead initiatives and adapt to drive successful market growth.
- Proven Performance or Influencer Marketing Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in influencer marketing or performance marketing, with a focus on Paid Social – ideally within the food or consumer goods sector.
- Deep Understanding of the Dutch Market: Experience leading product or brand launches, with specific expertise in the Dutch market and broader EU region.
- Data-Driven and Analytical: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to optimize performance and outcomes.
- Project Management Excellence: Skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams and managing tasks with precision, ensuring smooth, on-time execution.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive self-starter with a passion for growing brands in new markets, driven by a solution-oriented, get-things-done attitude.
- Native Dutch Speaker: Fluent Dutch and English communication skills are essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a MacBook, snacks, and company merchandise. You'll also enjoy flexible working arrangements, with the option to work from our Hamburg HQ or remotely (2 days/week).
