About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team at Société Générale Assurances. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of corporate clients, identifying potential risks, and making recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain expertise in credit analysis, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations of corporate clients, including review of financial statements, industry trends, and market conditions.
  • Identify potential risks and make recommendations to senior management to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and risk management, to ensure effective credit risk management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit risk management.

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, finance, or business administration, or a bank apprenticeship with advanced training.
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in credit analysis, including cash flow analysis, at a corporate or investment bank.
  • Sound knowledge of balance sheet analysis, accounting rules (IFRS/IAS, US-GAAP, and HGB), and cash flow analysis.
  • Relevant knowledge of risk analysis and internal credit approval processes.
  • Fluency in both English and German language (oral and written).
