Job Summary
The Credit Risk Department plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of INEOS Styrolution by carefully assessing creditworthiness, setting responsible credit limits, and continuously monitoring credit exposure. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be part of a global team and report to the Head of Credit Risk Management EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments and analysis for new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with the company's risk policy and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize risk models and methodologies to quantify and mitigate credit risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Finance, Customer Services) to enable business opportunities while protecting the company's financial health.
- Negotiate credit limits with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with banks and external rating agencies.
- Monitor and report on the credit quality of the portfolio, identifying trends and potential areas of concern.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or finance.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis or related field within an international corporate or financial institution or a rating agency.
- Experience in managing a diversified customer portfolio of different industries, countries, and cultures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of financial information received from internal and external sources.
- Versed negotiating and good communication skills.
- Fluency in English (other additional languages are desired).
- Good skills in MS Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international and diverse environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
