About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engagement Lead to join our team at Unit8 SA. As a Technical Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with our clients to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to understand, decompose, and help solve their problems using data engineering.
  • Maintain high-quality relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Advise clients on technical solutions and explain different tradeoffs.
  • Implement solutions together with an engineering team.
  • Present work to stakeholders and top management.
  • Help scope and draft proposals for new engagements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering data solutions in a production environment.
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience, experience in the consulting industry will be a plus.
  • Experience in working with clients to understand, decompose, and help solve their problems and challenges.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following fields: data engineering, data warehousing, system architecture, cloud architecture, software engineering, data science.
  • Hands-on programming experience with one of the following: Python, Java, C++, C#, Scala.
  • Prior experience leading teams.
  • Familiarity with and enjoyment of working in an agile environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English and German is a must.
