Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Munich Marriott City West. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing shifts, leading the kitchen team, and implementing creative and innovative menu planning.
Key Responsibilities- Manage shifts independently and support supervisors in administration
- Lead the kitchen team and maintain a high level of cleanliness and maintenance
- Support creative and innovative menu planning and calculations based on the F&B concept
- Optimize productivity and efficiency of subordinate areas
- Work closely with the service team during shifts
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and maintenance (HAACP)
- Assist with purchasing and ordering food/goods in consultation with supervisors
- Be a team player with all F&B departments and the leadership team
- Jointly responsible for the further development of the kitchen team and training of apprentices
- Regularly provide content for the marketing team
- Several years of professional experience in professional kitchens
- Valid work permit for Germany/EU
- Creativity and enthusiasm for implementation accompanied by professionalism and structure-conscious working
- Strong awareness of quality and high standards
- Good German and/or English skills
- Organizational knowledge and skills as the basis for decisions
- Winning appearance, can-do attitude, and hands-on mentality
- Guest orientation and willingness to perform
- Enthusiasm to share knowledge with the team and trainees
