About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Procurement Manager Implementation CCU/S to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial project lead to implement large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe.
  • Contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts.
  • Dealing with standardized international supply contracts and national laws.
  • Linking the project with E.ON's central procurement department and project management/business.
  • Ongoing controlling and reporting of project budgets and continuous risk management.
  • Pre-qualifying suppliers and service providers to ensure compliance with requirements and standards.

Requirements

  • University degree or similar with a solid commercial background and knowledge of tendering and procurement procedures.
  • Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors.
  • Strong capabilities as a purchaser in challenging and complex working situations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently, and willingness to take initiative.
  • Team-oriented and confident approach to negotiations and communication with suppliers and service providers.
  • Ability to enter technical, process engineering areas, and specifications as well as legal topics and contract law.
  • Fluency in English and German (at least B2 level) and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, as well as very good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
