Symrise is a leading global provider of fragrances, flavors, food, nutrition, and cosmetic ingredients. Our clients include manufacturers of perfumes, cosmetics, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and producers of nutritional supplements and pet food.
Your RoleAs Director Channel Management Central & Eastern Europe, you will lead the Channel Management Team in Holzminden, Germany, and closely interact with the Channel Management of the other EAME-Market Clusters AMETCIS and WE, as well as sales colleagues and other functions in CEE.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the channel management sales teams and guide the customer/distributor teams via proper goal setting and performance reviews.
- Establish and sustain a strong internal network with relevant account managers and other stakeholders of the regional/global Symrise team involved in distributor management.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the CEE region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in the international Flavor and Ingredient industry.
- Experience in distributor management and ability to find the right balance between sensitivity and assertiveness.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Outstanding commercial acumen, negotiation, influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent speaker of business English and good command of another major language, preferably German.
