Your RoleAs Director Channel Management Central & Eastern Europe, you will lead the Channel Management Team in Holzminden, Germany, and closely interact with the Channel Management of the other EAME-Market Clusters AMETCIS and WE and the sales colleagues and other functions in CEE.
Your main goal is to achieve sustainable and profitable growth for your region via constructive partnerships with distribution partners.
- You will lead the channel management sales teams and guide the customer/distributor teams via proper goal setting and performance reviews.
- You will establish internally and with the distribution partners the right framework (incl. legal contracts) to successfully drive the business relationship.
- You will establish and sustain a strong internal network with relevant account managers and other stakeholders of the regional/global Symrise team involved in the distributor management.
- You will closely monitor and manage performance (especially revenue and profitability) according to set targets on an ongoing basis and act in timely manner with corrective actions.
- You will be accountable for the pricing strategy and ensure implementation in alignment with business units and pricing managers.
- You will drive the business development of the cluster with 3rd Party sales organization.
- You will develop, communicate, and implement country/subregional strategies to proactively drive geographical growth ambitions and to respond/anticipate relevant market developments in a timely manner.
- You have successfully completed your university degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in the international Flavor and Ingredient industry.
- You have experience in distributor management and on a personal level are able to find the right balance between sensitivity and assertiveness.
- You are experienced in team leadership and cross-functional team management.
- You are both a strategic thinker with a conceptual approach and a hands-on doer.
- You have outstanding commercial acumen, negotiation, influencing, presentation, and communication skills as well as project and legal contract management skills.
- You are a fluent speaker of business English and ideally have a good command in another major language, preferably German.
