The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC) is a Business Unit within the HRS Group, responsible for developing and managing the HRS E-Commerce platforms. Our mission is to deliver growth and sustainable profitability by enhancing customer loyalty, enabling brand repositioning, and unlocking additional potentials through optimized supplier management.
Position: Director of Product Management
We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead our product teams, drive the discovery phase of new features, and optimize our booking funnels for maximum efficiency and conversion. As a key member of our product organization, you will coach and develop product managers, bringing modern product management practices into the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the discovery phase of product development, identifying customer needs, conducting interviews, and creating problem spaces for product managers to explore.
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy, overseeing all stages of the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design to ensure product development initiatives are closely integrated with overall business strategies.
- Develop and lead a team of multiple Product Managers, supporting them as a mentor and empowering them to grow together.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for conversion rate optimization activities and establish a framework for ongoing monitoring and communication of progress and insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Senior/Manager level of experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing product teams.
- Demonstrated success in leading and scaling product management teams, with a history of delivering user-centric solutions that drive significant business growth and improve conversion rates.
- Deep understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and experience with event-driven, microservices architecture.
- Strong strategic planning skills, including the ability to develop product roadmaps, allocate resources effectively, and use data-driven decision-making to steer product direction.
- Passion for improving user experience and proven ability to conduct customer interviews, define problem spaces, and focus on delivering customer value.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving innovation.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
