Product Management Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead our product teams and drive the discovery phase of new features. In this role, you will be responsible for building and owning our product organization and strategy, working closely with Engineering and Design to ensure product development initiatives are closely integrated with overall business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the discovery phase of product development, identifying customer needs and conducting interviews to create problem spaces for product managers to explore.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy, overseeing all stages of the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Develop and lead a team of multiple Product Managers, supporting them as a mentor and empowering them to grow together, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for conversion rate optimization activities and establish a framework for ongoing monitoring, communicating progress and insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the further development of product management, ensuring a focus on results, transparency, and efficient workflows.

About You

  • Senior/Manager level of experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing product teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling product management teams, with a history of delivering user-centric solutions that drive significant business growth and improve conversion rates.
  • Deep understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and experience with event-driven, microservices architecture.
  • Strong strategic planning skills, including the ability to develop product roadmaps, allocate resources effectively, and use data-driven decision-making to steer product direction.
  • Passion for improving user experience and a proven ability to conduct customer interviews, define problem spaces, and focus on delivering customer value.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving innovation.
  • Experience working in a global context and understanding diverse market needs is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
