We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team at eFinancialCareers Sourcing Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with expertise in IFRS standards.

This role requires a proactive and analytical approach, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reports, as well as identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial statements for clients in line with IFRS standards.
  • Developing and implementing accounting and reporting processes for alternative investment funds.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
  • Contributing to internal and external projects related to IFRS reporting and other financial reporting standards.
  • Engaging with clients to discuss reporting deliverables and address concerns.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools and technology.
  • Proactive and analytical approach with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in German and English.

Education and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of financial services and investment products.
  • Experience with financial systems and back-office solutions is a plus.
