About the Role
PER, Private Equity Recruitment seeks an accomplished Senior Finance Manager to join our client's team in the Stuttgart area, Germany. This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial foundations of a rapidly expanding business.

Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in financial management, budget planning, and cash flow forecasting. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee core accounting functions, execute financial reconciliation, and prepare budget plans to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will manage financial reporting processes, ensuring alignment with investor expectations and company growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and monitor budget plans, providing support in financial planning and budget oversight.
  • Perform cash flow planning and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly financial close procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support IT system transitions and integration with accounting functions to improve financial reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with outsourced tax and payroll providers to optimise finance-related services.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to assist senior management in decision-making and operational insights.
  • Partner with other departments to set up effective cost controls and financial monitoring.

Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in finance, economics, or a related discipline. A university degree is required, along with several years of experience in controlling, accounting, and/or audit. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a proactive approach to financial management, are essential for this role. Familiarity with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting is beneficial, and experience working with financial systems and accounting software is a plus. Entrepreneurial and hands-on, you will contribute to a growing company and adapt quickly to changing processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in German and English is required.

Compensation:
This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
