Senior Project Manager

For our client in the aerospace industry, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the High Lift & MSI Wing new Product Breakdown Structure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure end-to-end planning, integration, and monitoring of the work package across all functions involved.
  • Prepare a comprehensive dossier for project launch and define project scope.
  • Secure Significant MOD maturity and decisions with robust inputs.
  • Develop and implement an effective implementation strategy and associated risk management.
  • Ensure business case and performance (Ramp-up, RC savings, Lead Time reduction, maturity, etc.)
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Provide visibility on the work package.
  • Manage change requests.

Requirements:

  • High-tuned communication, presentation, and influencing skills towards all management levels - internally and externally.
  • Independent, structured, and result-oriented work and good analytical skills.
  • A high degree of persuasiveness and assertiveness to represent the relevant interests.
  • Willingness to travel.

Professional Training/Studies:

  • Aircraft construction or Engineering or Industrial engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Work Experience:

  • Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Production planning and control for at least 2 years.
  • Project management for at least 4 years.

IT:

  • Google Workspace an advantage.
  • PLM (product life cycle management an advantage).

Knowledge:

  • Project management with at least very good knowledge.

Languages:

  • German with at least fluent.
  • English with at least business fluent.
