About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Associate to join our team in Berlin. As an Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include hiring, training, and coaching mechanics and fleet support staff, building a safe and efficient warehouse environment, and defining new processes to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and provide coaching to mechanics and fleet support staff
  • Build a safe and efficient warehouse environment
  • Define new processes to drive operational excellence
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operations projects
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide complaint management and customer incident investigation support
  • Partner with the local government relations representative to manage key legal, regulatory, and safety issues
About You:
  • 4+ years of professional work experience, ideally 2+ years in an operations position
  • Experience leading teams or groups preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Berlin region and ability to anticipate operational needs and challenges
  • Grit and an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • High-energy and sound decision maker with the ability to make data-based decisions with a cost-focused mindset
  • Fluent verbal and written German and English language skills
  • Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to navigate and draw inference from data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
