About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Specialist to join our team at Siemens AG. As a key member of our Sales Operations team, you will play a critical role in the quotation and order fulfillment process for grid simulation software and its digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and coordinate complex software proposals to global sales organizations, process orders, and deliver licenses in the Grid Simulation Software business.
  • Support the global sales regions through regular, proactive communication and coordination within the Sales Operations team.
  • Maintain customer data in Salesforce.com, identify potential for improvement in data management, and work on cross-departmental data projects.
  • Support the development, implementation, and operation of digital software sales processes with a focus on workflow automation, CPQ, and e-commerce, in collaboration with multi-functional teams.
  • Work on the development and standardization of terms and conditions.
  • Conceptually involved in topics related to the Xcelerator Marketplace, such as defining business requirements.
  • Manage area-specific key figures and create reports and analyses.
Requirements
  • University degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in sales operations/internal sales or sales finance in international software sales.
  • Good knowledge of terms and conditions and license agreements.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), SAP, and Salesforce.
  • Experience in creating reports and analyses.
  • Significant IT project experience, ideally in digitalization in sales, subscription management, and/or e-commerce.
  • Interest in strategic and conceptual topics in the field of digital selling and in an agile working environment.
  • Independent, proactive, and structured way of working, strong communication skills in business proficient German and English, and interculturally competent.
  • Flexible and able to easily adapt to new tasks, solutions, and customer needs.
