Our research focuses on developing innovative computational approaches to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. We leverage cutting-edge technologies and large datasets to unravel the complexities of childhood cancers.
Your Role- Lead a project focused on enhancing DNA methylation tumor classifiers used in Pediatric Neurooncology.
- Develop and implement machine learning models (e.g., random forest, neural networks) for accurate tumor classification.
- Analyze and integrate multi-omics data to gain deeper insights into cancer biology.
- Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to translate your findings into clinical applications.
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field. You should possess:
- A PhD or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Proven experience with Linux/Unix command line and programming languages (R, Python, Bash).
- Expertise in analyzing and integrating next-generation sequencing data is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
