We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Business Development Intern to join our portfolio company in Berlin. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the go-to-market strategies of a trailblazing supply chain platform.
The company, founded in 2021, has redefined the way large construction material orders are sourced, distributed, and financed. With a mission to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market, they provide access to high-quality construction materials at a global scale through their innovative platform.
Company OverviewThis innovative supply chain platform eliminates middlemen and embraces tech-first and AI, creating a seamless connection between suppliers and buyers. Its proprietary platform technology facilitates supply and demand matching and offers a comprehensive suite of services, including cloud inventory management, fulfillment solutions, and fintech capabilities.
With over 75 FTEs located across Germany, China, and India, the team is on track to achieve profitability and generate triple-digit million GMV.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will:
- Analyse market trends and implement Go-To-Market strategies to unlock profitable opportunities
- Prospect and assist in identifying and reaching out to potential clients or partners through various channels
- Analyse operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain and organise operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance records
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues
- Collaborate closely with the founders, Growth, and Operations teams
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Strong proficiency in French and English
- A creative mindset and ability to think outside the box

Salary & BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is €40,000 - €50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive attractive benefits, including a bonus and incentive program, as well as the opportunity to participate in the company's upside.
