Job Description

The Director of Sales and Account Management role is a key position at Experian, responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our sales and account management in the finance and payment sector. As a leader in this field, you will have a direct impact on Experian's growth, helping us expand our reach both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sales and Account Management Finance and Payment division, ensuring alignment with Experian's standards, strategies, and targets.
  • Support national and international customers from the Finance and Payment industry, providing professional support, managing client relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement the existing sales strategy, reviewing, improving, and executing it to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
  • Manage the budget for the department, including resources, hiring, and personnel planning, ensuring the team operates within set financial parameters.
  • Collaborate with product and solution teams to innovate and enhance industry-specific solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of customers.
  • Conceptualize and execute customer events, lectures, trade fair presences, and other engagement activities in collaboration with marketing.

Requirements

  • Strong sales orientation and excellent network management skills, with a proven track record in sales and relationship building.
  • Several years of experience and excellent knowledge of the finance and payment industry, including risk and fraud management.
  • Excellent network and contacts in the finance and payment industry, beneficial for customer acquisition and understanding industry trends.
  • Proven experience in solution sales and supporting major customers, with a history of successfully selling solutions to large customers and managing significant accounts.
  • Analytical, conceptual, and entrepreneurial thinking skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with high-level executives.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English, essential for national and international clients.
  • Willingness to travel, due to the nature of the role.
