Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand the existing project management department
  • Manage a team of over 10 employees
  • Ensure the operational and orderly processing of tasks
  • Full cost responsibility
  • Prepare and submit bids
  • Network with our international agent network

Location: Düsseldorf

Requirements:

  • Professional experience as a project manager or in sea freight handling (conventional, container, heavy lift)
  • Customer orientation
  • Improvisation and organizational skills
  • Independence
  • Teamwork
  • Budget responsibility

Languages: Good English skills in writing and speaking; additional foreign languages are welcome

Qualifications:

  • Business knowledge
  • Experience in the field of heavy transport / special transport
  • Good knowledge of MS Office

Notes: Our client is a reputable forwarding company with 80 employees in Germany. Their focus is on all aspects of sea freight. The project management department is the backbone of the company.
