ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Senior Support Engineer focused on AV-VC systems, you will be instrumental in facilitating effective communication and collaboration for our executive leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain continuous communication with the Executive Support Engineering team, managing assigned calls, daily operations, scheduling, and troubleshooting video conferencing issues.
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of AV-VC systems in executive conference rooms, ensuring peak performance and prompt resolution of issues.
- Deliver high-level technical support for video conferencing, providing real-time assistance to executives during meetings.
- Efficiently open, track, and resolve tasks, including Make/Add/Changes requests, while managing Break/Fix and RMA requests.
- Monitor video conferencing calls at end-user event sites, perform equipment swaps in executive conference rooms as necessary, and conduct inspections twice daily.
- Install and maintain VC room hardware, quickly replacing and installing key components to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to the development of the AV-VC Small Group Support process (Run Book) and strive for continuous improvement.
- Provide immediate response and support to the Executive Engineering team during business hours, ensuring their technical needs are met efficiently.
- Manage collaboration hardware deployment requests from the executive team, overseeing the process from request initiation to delivery confirmation.
- Work closely with vendors, Logistics, and cross-functional teams to replace and recommission equipment, ensuring a smooth supply chain.
- Oversee Executive Support equipment and peripherals inventory, collaborating with Logistics to reorder and fulfill additional equipment and supplies based on stock levels.
- Occasionally engage with executives and their administrative staff to address inquiries and recommend video conferencing solutions, ensuring a positive user experience.
- Maintain alignment with the AV-VC team to ensure compliance with all environmental standards, staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience in AV-VC systems maintenance and executive support.
- Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving video conferencing challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational and task management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of call flows and advanced troubleshooting skills, including packet capture, hardware log collection, firmware updates, and streamshark packet analysis.
