Avionics Systems Engineer

Join Volocopter GmbH, a pioneering company in electric air taxis, as an Avionics Systems Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of our avionics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement avionics systems requirements, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate avionics systems.
- Ensure compliance with ARP4754A and DO-160 standards, as well as certification requirements for Type Certificate programs.
- Work closely with suppliers to integrate COTS equipment and develop custom solutions.
- Participate in data-bus design reviews, analysis, and testing.
- Support the generation of compliance evidence for certification.
- Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace development, with a focus on avionics systems.
- Proven track record of requirements engineering with requirement management tools like Integrity or DOORS.
- Experience with data-bus (CAN, A-429, RS-485, etc.) and software and airborne electronic hardware standards DO-178 and DO-254.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience working in EASA-approved Design Organization (Part21J).
- Knowledge of ARINC-825 Bus.
