Avionics Systems Engineer

Join Volocopter GmbH, a pioneering company in electric air taxis, as an Avionics Systems Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of our avionics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement avionics systems requirements, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test avionics systems, ensuring seamless integration with other aircraft systems.
- Validate and verify avionics systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality avionics systems components.
- Participate in design reviews, audits, and other quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace development, with a focus on avionics systems.
- Proven track record of requirements engineering, with experience in tools like Integrity or DOORS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience with software and airborne electronic hardware standards DO-178 and DO-254.
- Experience working in EASA-approved Design Organizations (Part21J).
- Experience with ARINC-825 Bus.
