Security Architect

Covestro is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our IT Security team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for our entire MS Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with operational teams, IT security, cloud teams, cyber defense team, and cloud decision committees to provide expert advice on security-related matters.
- Evaluate, plan, and design new Azure Cloud functions, standardize security solutions, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Prototype new security-relevant configurations and conduct regular architecture reviews.
- Ensure knowledge transfer between cloud platform and IT security team, and train experts in security best practices.
- University degree in (business) informatics, natural sciences, or a comparable education, with several years of professional experience in IT consultancy or digital transformation topics.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Azure certifications, are highly valued.
- Excellent technical experience in designing MSFT Azure cloud architectures, understanding of MSFT Azure Well Architecture Framework, landing zone concepts, and tenant structures.
- Strong analytical thinking, conceptual skills, and excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intercultural experience and very good English skills.
