Security Architect

Covestro is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our IT Security team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for our entire MS Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with operational teams, IT security, cloud teams, and cyber defense teams to provide expert advice on security-related matters.
- Evaluate, plan, and design new Azure Cloud functions, ensuring the standardization of security solutions and monitoring.
- Develop and prototype new security-relevant configurations.
- Conduct regular architecture reviews to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure.
- Transfer knowledge between the cloud platform and IT security team, providing training and support as needed.
- University degree in (business) informatics, natural sciences, or a comparable education.
- Several years of professional experience in IT consultancy or digital transformation topics related to IT infrastructure and cloud services.
- Relevant certifications, such as Azure certifications.
- Excellent technical experience in designing MSFT Azure cloud architectures and a strong understanding of the MSFT Azure Well Architecture Framework, landing zone concepts, and tenant structures.
- Strong analytical thinking and conceptual skills to develop goal-oriented solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intercultural experience and very good English skills.
